Former MP Announced as Keynote Speaker at British Tourism & Travel Show

Former MP and cabinet minister Michael Portillo and Countryfile presenter Adam Henson are both set to be keynote speakers as the at the British Tourism & Travel Show – the leading annual meeting place for the UK’s multi-billion pound domestic tourism industry – when it returns to the NEC Birmingham on 16th-17th March.


Other highlights at the show will include a showcase of VisitEngland’s 2016 Year of the English Garden initiative in addition to exhibitors from 250 attractions, venues, destinations, hotels, transport providers, associations and DMOs.


Exhibitors include Visit the Lothians, which will be promoting the region by launching its new ‘Gateway to Edinburgh’ itinerary and Dolphin Spirit Inverness, which will launch Dolphins for the Masses. The Moray Firth is home to a resident population of dolphins and this is a unique opportunity to see them.
