£50m Rose Bowl Opening |

 The Rose Bowl, Leeds Metropolitan University’s £50 million state-of-the-art facility, has opened making Well Met – the University’s conference office - one of the largest conference venues in the city. The Rose Bowl features seven lecture theatres, which can accommodate up to 256 delegates, as well as breakout facilities for larger conferences. It’s also the new home for Leeds Business School. Kate Pitcher, Business Development Manager, said: “We are thrilled that the opening of the Rose Bowl has been so successful and that the numbers of event bookings for the future are flowing in.” Well Met Conferencing has secured a string of high profile events for the venue, including Leeds Business Week, the Academy of Marketing and the Royal Anthropological Institute.
