 RAI plc, which hosts over 700 events a year across the Royal Armouries Museum and SAVILES Hall in Leeds, has been awarded the Investors In People Award. Sir Jimmy Savile, the venue’s namesake, received the award for RAI plc at SAVILES Hall. The Investors In People assessment involved in-depth interviews with 27 staff members from all aspects of the business and the assessor established RAI plc met all the criteria required to achieve the award. Chris O’Boyle, Chairman of RAI plc, said: "This is an accolade that sets us apart from other venues… It gives an assurance to prospective employees and clients that we care about the people who work for us and the quality of the service we provide."
This is the third award that RAI plc has received this year. Event Manager Destan Hasani received the Exceptional Customer Service Award from the Leeds Hoteliers Association and Jim Vincent was awarded Personality of the Year at the Business Tourism Awards.
