Few venues, over two hectic months this summer, will have hosted the variety and scale of events seen at Newark Showground, attracting tens of thousands of visitors from around the world.
Hosting four music festivals, featuring Tech Metal, Country and Hoedown to Heavy Rock music, accommodating 10,000 campers at Europe’s largest weekend celebration of vegan foods and lifestyle, the site also showcased 4,000 performing circus-skill artistes for the prestigious 10-day European Juggling Convention.
In between, the 86-acre site provided the week-long base for a Christian camping conference, fitted in an outdoor cinema screening and made its outdoor and indoor spaces available to 75 corporate teams of 10 taking part in an It’s a Knockout-style contest over two barmy days!
Meanwhile, Newark Showground’s conference, meeting and dining venues continued to take smaller bookings as well as securing the glitzy Newark Business Awards dinner on Midsummer’s Night. Just days later, the room was transformed with kilometres of scale roadways by model trucking enthusiasts for a weekend of remote-controlled fun!
