The Meetings Show returns to Olympia London on 26th and 27th June. The exhibition owned by Centaur Media was launched in 2013 and aims to bring together professionals from across the meetings and events industry for two days of networking and learning.

The show is set to welcome over 600 UK and international exhibitors including hotels, destinations, conference centres, venues and technology suppliers. Last year it saw over 10,800 pre-scheduled meetings taking place on the show floor between 4,500 industry professionals ranging from agency buyers, in-house planners, and media groups.

Its free-to-attend education programme will offer over 40 hours of sessions focused on the event planning journey. Split into seven stages, including Sharpening Your Event Skills, Creating and Communicating the Vision, Textbook Planning, Making Your Events Memorable, Getting People There, The Bigger Picture and The Pat on the Back, the sessions are designed to maintain relevance across a range of levels and job roles.

Keynote speakers will discuss the latest industry trends from festivalisation and gamification to social media and sustainability, while one-to-one sessions will see experts offer their advice to help businesses strategise for the year ahead.

This year, hosted buyers will also have the opportunity to register for one of three post-show fam trips to Bristol, Aberdeen or Brighton for a first-hand introduction to these emerging UK destinations.

The new two-day format proved a great success last year, and we’ve got a whole host of new exhibitors lined up, as well as lots of familiar faces returning. We’re really focusing on feedback from visitors, exhibitors and hosted buyers, to make sure we deliver exactly what they need.”
