The Unique Venues of Leeds online platform offers event organisers a convenient method to search for unusual venues using selection criteria ranging from event type, attendee numbers and venue style, to discover the right space for events.
Created as a way to collectively promote the use of independent, locally run spaces, Unique Venues of Leeds hopes to provide venues, hotels, restaurants, bars and industry suppliers with a simple and cost-effective tool to market and promote their facilities and services.
The expansion follows the launch of Unique Venues of Manchester, now in its fifth year of operation, which also began with six venues, and now lists over 40.
A recent British Meetings and Events Industry survey (BMEIS) ranked Leeds as the fourth most popular conferencing city in the UK, with business visitors adding to a tourism industry that annually contributes over £200 million to the local economy.
