For more than two centuries, the Assembly Rooms in Edinburgh has been at the heart of special occasions and celebrations in
Scotland’s historic capital city.
Combining 18th century splendour with the technological capabilities and state-of the-art production you would expect from
a premier venue, the Assembly Rooms has an experienced team onhand to help create the perfect event. Furthermore, the catering
panel brings together five of the country’s finest companies to offer a variety of exciting menu options, all using delicious, locally sourced Scottish produce.
The venue can host dinners for up to 430 guests, conferences for up to 550 (or 750 with catering restrictions) and receptions for up
to 1,000. Immersed in history, the unique city centre venue offers a range of flexible spaces including the grand and glamorous music hall with fixed and mobile retractable seating and stage, and the ballroom, which is elegant, ornate and extremely flexible for theatre style conferences, exhibitions or seated dining. Finally, the east and west drawing rooms are spectacular smaller spaces for workshops or meetings.
This breathtaking building offers versatile spaces for tailor-made memorable events, from intimate meetings to large-scale events.
And just a few minutes’ walk from Waverley and Haymarket stations, the Assembly Rooms is ideally located for both local and traveling delegates. With its stunning architecture, period features and sweeping ballroom with glittering chandeliers, it provides a backdrop that ensures delegates talk about events long after they leave.
