A new event space in North Wales will have delegates screaming with delight as they zip, bounce and coast through the Welsh mountains. Experience exhilarating adventures, add a competitive element or put your team through challenges of a lifetime. Zip World has opened The Gallery, an adventure inspired conference and event space, within its new £3.3m Adventure Terminal in Bethesda, North Wales.
The conference and event space can accommodate up to 60 in a variety of settings. The space has a combination of a flexible indoor space and an outdoor terrace overlooking the famous slate quarry and the turquoise waters of the Penrhyn Quarry lake.
Just metres above the third floor Gallery terrace is the fastest zip wire in the world, Velocity. The conference and events team has developed a range of options that can integrate adventures at one of their three stunning locations within the booking, rebooting the traditional meeting into an unforgettable experience.
Wales is blessed with wide open spaces, clean air and fresh water from the mountains – all elements that nurture the finest produce. Where possible, Zip World source supplies from key local partners and have lovingly created a range of dining options at the Gallery and Blondin Restaurant on the second floor, with key dishes developed in partnership with renowned North Wales chef Bryn Williams.
Inspired by the setting, the new space is aesthetically stunning. With tonnes of slate incorporated into the build, including the exterior cladding, a mix of Penrhyn and Llechwedd slate.
Group Booking Adventure Consultant, Stephanie Jones says: “In a technological world where it can feel as if the small screen dominates the working day, we’ve created an event experience that’s all about connecting in the real world. “We are working with event planners to integrate adventure within their experience at a level that works for everyone – the range of Zip World experiences cater for every level. It’s about making adventure accessible.”
Zip World is easily accessible via rail (three hours from London) or car. To arrange a tour of Zip World and the Adventure Terminal, please contact Stephanie Jones at 01248 661 444 or firstname.lastname@example.org
