A Potential Exit Strategy for Lockdown 3.0?

3 February 2021

Large business events up to 4,000 can go ahead from December, says prime minister.

24 November 2020

Following from the original tier system set in place by the government, Boris Johnson now explains that a blanket approach to restrictions is likely to happen. Given the original tier system causing confusion amongst the general public alongside giving people a feeling of optimism that things were on the up when in fact that was not to be the case.

The official announcement from the government is set to be on February 22nd where we hope to see a clear exit strategy.

Bros Johnson PM said the following statement:

“That plan will, of course, depend on the continued success of our vaccination programme, the capacity of the NHS, and on deaths falling at the pace we would expect as more people are inoculated,” he said.

“Our aim will be to set out a gradual and phased approach towards easing the restrictions in a sustainable way, guided by the principles we have observed throughout the pandemic, beginning with the most important principle of all: that re-opening schools must be our national priority and the first sign of normality beginning to return should be pupils going back to their classrooms. “
