Central Hall Venues is the umbrella name and support network for a new group of conference and events venues around the United Kingdom.
Central Hall Venues is owned by Central Hall Westminster Ltd, a social enterprise.
CHV currently manages locations in central London, York and Edinburgh. All venues are contained within Methodist Halls that were primarily built as meeting places for the public.
Our close ties with Methodism ensure that we maintain a transparent approach to doing business. We are proud to uphold well-defined principles of ethics, integrity and sustainability.
We welcome all types of events, not only those affiliated to the church.
Central Hall Westminster
Central Hall Westminster (CHW) is our longest standing venue, that has been running as a successful commercial conference and events space for over 20 years.
Central Hall Westminster is a beautiful Grade II* listed building located just off Parliament Square, next to Westminster Abbey. The venue has over 25 meeting and events spaces with the capacity to cater for over 2,000 people in the Great Hall.
Nicolson Square Edinburgh
Nicolson Square Edinburgh (NSE) is a conference and events venue in the centre of the beautiful Scottish capital city of Edinburgh. NSE is as a new brand and offering that launched in February 2021.
Nicolson Square has over five flexible event spaces and is housed within the City of Edinburgh’s Methodist Church an impressive category A listed building. The venue hosts a range of events including art fairs, exhibitions and live performances.
St Saviourgate York
St Saviourgate York is a conference and events venue situated within the ancient walls of York and surrounded by 2000 years of history. The venue is the Central Methodist Church which dates back to 1840 and is today a Grade II* listed building.
St Saviourgate York (SSY) is a new name and brand that forms a part of the Central Hall Venues group who successfully support and manage events venues in other parts of the country. St Saviourgate has five flexible event spaces capable of holding events for up to 400 people.
