Annual Report Reveals Trends

22 November 2022

The independent think tank and advocacy network, The Business of Events (TBoE) has announced new partners including the Edinburgh International Conference Centre, The Meetings Show, and Cvent.

They join long-standing partners VisitBritain, VisitScotland Business Events, ICC Wales, MeetEngland, and the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Events.

Felicia Asiedu, European Marketing Director at Cvent, said: “We chose to partner with TBoE because its commitment to insight, advocacy, and meaningful dialogue reflects Cvent’s dedication to empowering the global events community with the technology and intelligence it needs to demonstrate and grow its broad economic impact.”

Craig Bingham, Managing Director of ICC Wales, said: “Our decision to continue partnering with TBoE is driven by the tangible value it delivers for venues and destinations from economic impact and regional growth to skills, sustainability, innovation, and accessibility.

These priorities align perfectly with ICC Wales’ commitment to supporting the wider business events economy and strengthening relationships with government and the public sector and helping to improve event experiences for the industry.”
